About Shannon Jabczynski

Shannon Jabczynski started dancing at the age of 4. She had fun with ballet, Tap and Jazz until her tweens. Switched to sports until she moved from Chicago to Dallas in the year 2000 at the age of 16! Just a short month after her move she tagged along to go "Swing Dancing" in Dallas... Fell in love and became a committed student for years learning everything anyone would teach her. She started competing in the year 2003 and continues to do so for the fun and experience of it! She currently teaches, and volunteers, for the Dallas Swing Dance Society (DSDS); mainly with Josue Romero in different styles of the dance. Shannon is on the DSDS Board of Driectors, as well as, the DSDS Special Events Team. This is a major passion in her life and she looks forward to seeing the dancers of her scene and others progress!
