Every Second, Third, and Fourth Saturday - DSDS Swing on a String Dance!

Come Dance with us!
This is your personal invitation!

The Swing on a String is DSDS's primary social dance!  No experience is necessary, and newcomers are welcome!

Overflow Parking is available at The Senior Source:  https://goo.gl/maps/wYQqL

The main event begins at 8:00PM with a Newcomer Lesson.  This lesson is designed to provide brand new dancers enough skills and moves to have fun dancing all night.  There's no need to bring a partner, just come as you are!

The DJ will start music at 9:00PM.  DSDS is a social dance.  So, dancers are encouraged to ask each other to dance.  It's socially acceptable to ask strangers, folks who have specific dance partners, and friends alike.  The dancing runs through midnight.

Dancers who have conquered the Beginner Lesson are invited to our Workshops.  The workshop starts at 6:00PM.  Topics change month to month.  Please keep an eye on the emails we send out to see what's on the schedule for the upcoming week!

DSDS is a volunteer-run organization.  None of the organizers, set up and tear down crew, or front desk staff are paid.  We are always in need of more help to keep Swing Dancing alive in Dallas.  If you're interested in helping, please speak to us at the front desk or email president@dsds.org.
